Our CrAzY liFe!

So, generaly on a daily basis we don't know what our day is going to hold. Kind of like the Forrest Gump saying, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get." Well, today for example I had to sit in a waiting room for 2 hours for the girls to see their doctor. They have both had the "crud" and they have gotten worse. Well, I am trying to become a more patient person, so I practiced today. And I observed....boy did I observe. The girls were pleasant. They pushed the little chairs around the waiting room several times and for the most part sat and watched Max & Ruby on the tv. What I observed was an impatient grandma with a sassy granddaughter who wouldn't take no as an answer....and a mother too busy on her laptop to give her 2 children any attention...and they were BEGGING for it. Now, I'm not any better than these 2! But like I said earlier...I was trying to observe people today. I realized that, yes I'm giving up 2 hours of probably valuable time WAITING in a small waiting room with whiny kids...but I was there...I was there for my 2 girls. I listened to them, I paid attention to them...and they were GOOD! So maybe, the problems that I have had with discipline, in mainly Makayla, is a result of my lack of attention to her...I'm still pondering this one!
So, that was just a piece of my day. The rest was getting the few groceries/meds we needed, driving an hour home, ordering food from both Ben E. Keith & Sysco for this weekends events, laundry, wiping down the whole house with LYSOL, cooking supper, cleaning up after supper, bathing 2 little girls (who miraculously feel much better after 2 doses of meds), and....I'm thankful...Thankful that I have this ALL OF THIS! Would I change my days...NOPE! I might not know how to act if I lived a "NORMAL" life!
